Town Forest

Consists of 50 acres of area which is located between Tasek Utara Road and Yahya Awal Road. Its' distance is approximately 1.5 km from the city center. Among the components in this place are Tembusu Park, Food court, Playground for children, Lake area and Camping sites.

Johor Bahru Orchid Park

Situated in the Town Forest, this Orchid Park was officially opened to public in the middle of 2003. With its theme "Orchid Ecological Exhibition" this park is approximately 10 acres wide, has buildings combining ‘lestari' design concepts of environmentally friendliness and openness.


Merdeka Park

This park is located at Tasek Utara which is 3 km from Johor Bharu City Center and has a total area of 31 acres. It encompasses the development of Phase 1 and Phase 2. The visitors who come to this park can enjoy activities such as sports and at the same time learn about independence through the development component.

Pandan Lake Recreational Park

Pandan Lake Recreational Park is located at Harmon Road, Desa Harmon Park, the district of Johor Bharu near Ponderosa Golf & Country Club. This Recreational Park consists of 6.6 hectars (16.3 acres) and is completed with a lake sizing approximately 10 acres which is situated inside the park.

Jewel House

Jewel House a single storey sprawling bungalow has been designed with a Malaysian tropical climate taken into consideration taken. It was located in Johor Bahru, Orchid Garden with and area of 10 acres.
Using the corridor as the main design element, it was useful as a display area with wide and airy open walkway that placed ariety of orchid. Orchid displayed in the Jewel Hourse are those that have been named after the Malaysian dignitaries such as Renantanda Abdul Ghani Othman, Ascocenda Zanariah and others.
If you are a new to orhid world, the "Jewel House" with its audio visual room and information center is the right place to learn and gain knowledge about it. Other than that the Jewel House also ancillary for the management and marketing office of the orchids and also for Malaysian Orchid Association.

Linear Park

Built since 1990, it is located along Jalan Tun Razak which covers an area of 5.54 hectares. It was built as "Relaxing Place" for the road user before starting their journey. Few rest shade an reflexology pathway provided for this purpose. Beside this, the park also provide other recreational facilities such as :

Stulang Beach

The beach is located along Jalan Stulang Laut and become a popular spot for the city citizen who loves to picnic and do other water related activities, such as windsurfing, jet skying, water scootering and many more. Beside that visitor may go shopping to the Free Trad Zone Shopping Mall nearby.

Meldrum Walk

Jalan Meldrum was named after Dato' Meldrum (1821-1904), a Scotman who set up a sawmill at the mouth of the Sungai Segget (close to the present Customs Complex at Jalan Sawmill). Logging was a primary industry for Johor Bahru at the time. Jalan Meldrum is situated at the center of an area once known as Wong Ah Fook village where several roads were also named after his sons, Siew Nam, Siew Koon and Siew Chin.
It was designed as a pedestrian mall which provides an attractively landscape passage for the benefit of locals and tourist alike. Here, visitors can relax at the sidewalk cafes as well as being entertained by street artistes of cutural prformances.

Segget Walk

Segget Walk is a pedestrian mall that will provide a comfortable and safe green pasage for visitors. Planned with the theme "creating a human experience" in mind. Segget Walk will also be informative through the use of various elements. Beside being a link from one point to another in the city. Segget Walk will provide spae for the public to relax, find entertainment, dine, gather with firends, exchange view and reminisce the history of Sungai Segget.

Tan Heok Nee Walk

In line with our mission to make Johor Bahru a "Garden City" by the year 2005, the Tan Hiok Nee Walk was conceptualized and designed to be a pedestrian mall that is user friendly. the idea is to remind us the history of Tan Hiok Nee who was a cloth merchant in Singapore,and became a very successful peeper and clove trader in Johor Bahru.
Beside that, another important reason for this eye-pleasing pedestrian mall is to provide comfortable, clean and organized network of walkways linking the business district at Jalan Wong Ah Fook to Jalan Dato' Onn in front of the MBJB Building and Post Office. This will revive business activities in the area as the Tan Hiok Nee Walk becoes a focus point for Johor Bahru citizens as well as visitors.
